Interns Unit

Tasks:

  • The Interns Unit supervises the training of Interns and is directly linked to the Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs.
  • The Unit is responsible for training internship doctors' issues, such as making administrative arrangements related to training courses, following up on interns, and overcoming difficulties in their work.
  • Improving training, implementing educational programs that contribute to educating interns, providing them with the necessary skills to practice medicine, and conducting studies and scientific research during the internship.
  • The Interns Unit supervises all problems that encounter  Interns and raises all complaints about their performance to the Unit. The Unit also receives all issues, observations, and grievances interns raise during their training.
  • Preparing training letters and following up on the evaluation of interns during the internship year
  • Organizing summer training for clinical year students according to the required standards.
  • Organizing workshops in clinical simulation.
  • Issuing periodic reports and statistics on training progress in the internship year.
  • Issuing certificates of completion of the concession year after completing the training period
