About the Department
The department of internal medicine is one of the main departments at the college of Medicine. it offers instruction in the following courses:
Internal medicine, neurological diseases, dermatology, and psychiatry for medical students starting from the second and third years. The basics are first taught within the designated teaching units, followed by clinical practice and training in clinical skills beginning in the fourth year through to the sixth year. During this stage, the subject becomes more detailed and comprehensive, enabling graduates to competently handle various medical cases. in addition, the department oversees several other courses taught in the clinical years, such as Medical Ethics, Patient Safety, and Anesthesia.
